Pretty in pink

Sinful Color's Easy Going with one glitter nail! (tutorial to come)

Summer blazers!

One of my favorite things to wear is a blazer. It can instantly make an outfit look polished with little know extra effort. Just through it over a t-shirt and skinny jeans or some cute shorts and bam! You look like you spent a ton of time and thought into your outfit when really you were running late and grab a blazer as you ran out the door. I currently only have two blazers, one is navy that I found for $10 at a thrift store and the other is a tan one that i got for $20 from forever 21. I have my eye on this amazing pink one from target and am on the search for a black one!

Glitter shoes!

Glitter shoes have been in and out of style for years but none made as big an impact as miu miu's amazing glittery booties and pumps from last year. Fashion girls were dyeing to get their hands on a pair, me included. Everyone and their mother where wearing a pair at fashion week. Unfortunately, the price tag made them out of budget for pretty much EVERYONE. Many bloggers dug deep and found their own inner Martha Stewarts to create their own diy versions of these perfect shoes. Since then, the shoes have fallen from grace and are considered "so last season." But I don't care. I will be the happiest girl in the world the day i can get my hands on a pair! Until that day, I will join my fellow bloggers in their diying adventures and glitterify a pair of my own shoes!

After looking at many different crafty blogger's posts, I combined all their wisdom to create my perfect pair.

First I took an old pair of pumps ($10 from a school costumes sale!), some matte ( I used matte because i didn't want an overly shiny finish) mod podge, extra fine glitter (I used martha stewart's extra fine silver/gold glitter), an old paint brush, and a container lined with foil.

After sanding the shoes down a little with a old nail file, I mixed the glitter and glue together. Not to much glitter to make the glue chunky but enough so you could see it. After applying about 4 thin coats I was left with these perfect glitter pumps:

I can't wait to wear them to a friends wedding this weekend!

You can stand under my royal umbrella!

There is a woman out there paving the way for an awesome new accessory obsession of mine. That woman is the queen of England and no I am not talking about hats. I am talking about umbrellas. This woman has an adorable clear bubble umbrella with colored trim to match every single outfit! After some googling, I found out Fulton umbrellas are the official umbrella manufacturers of the royal family. For only 15 pounds (around $25) you can own your own royal umbrella! I may need to invest.

So perfect!
